Getting married during a pandemic is quite interesting. The amount of times you need to postpone…the do’s and don’ts. The sanitizing. The list goes on. I salute the couple’s endurance and patience. Wow. Was this worth the wait. Envor and Vrenika radiates love and all the good stuff!
Willie and Ruché were just such an eloquent couple to photograph. I had trouble choosing my favorite images to upload to this blog, there are just too many! I can’t wait for their special day! We took on the road to Stellenbosch for this session and wow. It didn’t disappoint! Here’s a small peek at what we got up to:
One of my last photo sessions in George before the move to Cape Town. I love early morning sessions. This one was around 06h30. Kudos to Dirk and the girls, apparently they’re not morning people. I reckon they looked pretty fresh and ready for action. Jolande and Dirk celebrated their 40th birthdays with a photo session at the same church they got married in 12 years ago. I think that is pretty rad. Here are a few highlights…
I love the intimacy that comes with eloping! Werner and Marilene eloped to a beautiful venue called Louvain. It is nestled away between George and Uniondale. These two radiated joy and love and all the good stuff. Here are a few of the highlights of their special day…
When I got the notification in my inbox. I was ecstatic. My old friend is getting married to the man of her dreams! Their love story kicked off in the Netherlands and their ultimate adventure started in South-Africa, when they said I do, just a couple of weeks ago. Their day was filled with authentic-love moments and cheer and ended off with a pink sky. I’m stoked to share some of the highlights of their special day…
What a couple and what a venue! Tarryn and Reinhardt got married on her parents’ farm just outside Wilderness. The location is absolutely breathtaking! And so dear and special to Tarryn. We had the best time taking on the elements and chasing the sun. I am so excited to share some of the highlights from their beautiful wedding day.
What does one do when life gives you lemons instead of a matric farewell?…. You squeeze the sparkle out of those lemons and do a photoshoot instead. The matrics of 2020 are real troopers! Have a look at Abby & Robby’s matric farewell shoot we did….
My first wedding post lockdown and man oh man was it a m a z i n g. Sizwe and Liani are just, lekker, people. I had the best time having them in front of my lens. Boy was I grateful to be behind the lens not just because of how awesome the day was, but how emotional too. Geelhoutboom road, just outside George, is treated to an amazing venue called Uitsig. A stunning venue with delicious food.
All the vibes! A story is sometimes better told in picture form…here have a look:

A while ago I ran a competition for women’s month. I remember speaking to Leonie at church, explaining to her how to enter and that there was only one day left to complete the steps. The next day, as I ran the random picker online, Leonie’s name popped up as the winner. How awesome is that? She decided to invite her daughters and granddaughters(they’re just adorable) along for the session. These girls know how to have fun! We visited Millwick’s cafe. What a beautiful venue. Here’s a look at some of the highlights:
